Our company goal is to maintain an average loss-dollar amount of 1.5% or less for the current fiscal year. The monthly loss-dollar amount for June 2011 was .755%, with our average to date being .950%. This is made possible by using our resources wisely.
Empire reached a safety record of 1,275 days with no lost-time accidents--that is a period of 3 1/2 years!
For 25 years, Empire has partnered with Gunderson Lutheran Healthcare and the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) to print and distribute the Annual CMN Christmas Card, which has raised over $250,000 to date.
Empire employees channeled their love of food into the Empire Charity Chili Cook-Off, which benefited the community meal program at A Place of Grace.
In March 2011, Empire employees participated in Empire's first Coulee Region Polar Plunge, raising $2,500 for Wisconsin Special Olympics and earning a place as one of the top ten corporate fundraisers for this year's plunge.
